Our worship style is a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary elements designed to allow the participant to experience the presence of God in a powerful way. Hymns and choruses are sung with both piano and organ accompaniment, and sometimes we sing a cappella to allow the rich harmony of voices lifted in praise. Every aspect of worship is Biblically based, and the reading of the scripture plays a prominent role. The sermon is intended to bring forth God's message for the day, applying Biblical truths to everyday situations, providing both encouragement for spiritual growth and a challenge for confession and repentance. An invitation for prayer is given at every worship service, and there are Deacons available to pray individually with those who seek spiritual guidance.
Child-care is provided during the worship service. Trained and screened volunteers staff the nurseries (through age five) and provide leadership for Children's Church (through sixth grade). |
